On the trail of the old mocanita. Adventures with the cycle train.

Discovering the Cycle-Drezina Adventure

Railway enthusiasts, but not only, can choose a lesser-known adventure: a ride on a cycle-drezina along the route of the old *mocanita. The volunteers of the "Friends of Mocanita" association have found the most unique way to promote tourism in the Hartimbaci Valley, on the route between the villages of Cornatel and Hosman*.

The Cycle-Drezina Experience

The young volunteers have built a cycle-drezina with their own hands; a mini-rail cart with a bicycle frame, equipped with a few benches from which tourists can admire:

• The fields of wheat
• Picturesque pastures
• The landscapes along the seven-kilometer route that was once traversed by the old mocanita

Future Plans

The project is still in its early stages, but the association members wish to extend the route that once connected the town of Agnita to the municipality of Sibiu.
