Introduction

The ski resort at Bâlea has become one of the most sought-after destinations for skiers in recent years. This is mainly due to the fact that the ski season here begins in November and lasts even until July, thanks to the low temperatures in the area and the permanent snow.

Ski Slopes

Currently, the Bâlea area features several ski slopes divided between recreational and extreme skiing. These slopes range from altitudes of 2,200 meters to 1,700 meters. The resort is highly popular due to its snowboarding slopes, a sport that has gained increasing popularity in recent years. Additionally, the area is also very suitable for beginner skiers, offering gentle slopes that are perfect for learning.

Ski Lift and Cable Car

Moreover, the Bâlea Lake area has a ski lift covering a length of 200 meters, with a price of 10 lei for a ride, as well as a cable car that spans 3,800 meters, costing 15 lei for an ascent and 15 lei for a descent.
