
The Valea Cetății Cave near Râșnov was only opened to the public a year ago, so now anyone in the Brașov - Cristian - Râșnov area can visit the stalactites accompanied by a guide.
Discovered in 1948, the investment made here in 2011 amounted to 300,000 euros. Prior to this, the cave was often accessed by people who littered or vandalized it.
In the middle of the Great Hall of the cave, a stage has been set up where concerts are often held. The excellent acoustics of the hall help create a truly unique atmosphere.
Following the renovations, the cave is equipped with LED lighting, which keeps the temperature inside at 8-10 degrees Celsius. The pathway is paved with iron, with railings in some areas.
