
From Saturday to Monday, Brașov will host the 14th edition of the *Etnovember cultural festival. Ceremonies, fairs, recitals, dances, and even medieval battles* will take place this weekend on the streets of Brașov.
The first important event in this year's Etnovember program is on Saturday at 1 PM in the Aula of Transylvania University, where several exhibitions will be set up.
Also on Saturday evening, in the attic of Casa Baiulescu, there will be an exhibition featuring items found in the attic of an old Saxon household from Feldioara, dating back several hundred years. Additionally, a concert of old Transylvanian music will be held in the attic of Casa Baiulescu.
On Sunday, at the Weavers' Bastion, a medieval fair will be organized, where traditional Romanian, Saxon, Hungarian, and Greek medieval dances will take place starting at 1 PM.
The highlight of the show will be a demonstration of medieval knight battles, and at 5:30 PM, a torch-lit procession will depart from the bastion to Piața Sfatului, following the route of:
At 6 PM, another performance will take place in Piața Sfatului, this time by the band Hypnosis, who promise to deliver a completely unique show.
The last day of the festival, Monday, will conclude with poetry. A poetry marathon is scheduled at the Faculty of Letters, aiming to become a tradition in this regard.
