Sibiu in the "Best City to Travel" Contest

Sibiu has joined three other cities from around the world in the semifinals of the "Best City to Travel" contest organized by one of the largest travel websites in the world, Foxnomad. The other cities in the semifinals are:

• Buenos Aires
• Bucharest
• Granada

Contest Details

The contest, which kicked off its "voting start" in February this year, featured over 120 countries from around the globe on its participant list. Voting takes place online, and each week the editors of the Foxnomad website have sifted through the country lists, keeping those with the most votes.

Voting Timeline

• Today, March 25, is the last day to vote for the semifinal in which Sibiu is competing against Buenos Aires for a spot in the final.
• However, it is almost certain that the city of Sibiu will make it to the final, holding nearly 4,000 votes ahead.
• The situation is quite different in the other semifinal, where the difference between the two candidates is just a few spots.

Final Voting
