It is important to mention that, being relatively low, the slope would be perfect for beginners of this winter sport. For a longer and more complex route, there are certainly other areas you could choose from.

Historical Significance

Last but not least, the church built in 1765 by Count Lazar Janos is representative of Băile Homorod. In gratitude for having managed to escape rheumatism through these healing waters, he decided to beautify Băile Homorod with a small church that would carry his name and history throughout its existence.
