
In Sibiu, a show inspired by the times of Baron Samuel von Brukenthal begins today, featuring merchants, furriers, leatherworkers, guild members, and musicians. This theatrical performance aims to remind the people of Sibiu and beyond how important the fairs held in the Great Square of Sibiu were in the past. Merchants from all corners of the country would come here to sell their products. It is also important to note that Sibiu was the main link between Transylvania and the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
The performance, which will start at 6 PM and take place today, October 29, and tomorrow, October 30, will feature over 100 dancers and musicians on the stage of the Sibiu Municipal Cultural Center, recreating that atmosphere of yesteryear.
The price of a ticket is 15 lei.
