From April 11-13, 2026, Sâmbăta de Sus Monastery, also known as Brâncoveanu Monastery, will become the main destination for the Easter pilgrimage. Located at the foot of the Făgăraș Mountains, this monastic settlement is one of the most important foundations of Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu, dating back to the late 17th century. Visitors can admire the unique Brâncovenesc-style architecture, with sculpted porches and invaluable mural paintings.
