Pro Istoria Fest Overview

“Music of the Present in the Service of the Past” is the slogan of Pro Istoria Fest, which promotes cultural-historical and tourist attractions located in Romania through a series of events. This festival debuted in September 2011 at the Royal Court of Târgovişte.

Pro Istoria Fest 2012 Highlights

Pro Istoria Fest 2012 gathered tens of thousands of people at the eight events of this year's edition. The festival, organized by the non-governmental association Star Education, also reached this year:

• Goleşti Museum
• Poenari Fortress
• Târgovişte

Final Edition in Sighişoara

On September 15-16, 2012, the final edition of this year’s Pro Istoria Fest will take place in Sigma Square in Sighişoara. The last concert of the band Sistem will be held on the Pro Istoria Fest stage in Sighişoara. This year, Pro Istoria Fest arrives for the first time in Sighişoara.
