Transylvania Horse Show 2014
This weekend, May 2-4, 2014, over 70 competitors from 19 countries will participate in the Transylvania Horse Show, the most renowned international equestrian competition in Romania.
Event Overview
This year marks the third edition of the competition, and it is an international event dedicated to equestrian sports and horse lovers. The Transylvania Horse Show will take place in the village of Prod, in the Hoghilag commune, Sibiu County, just 16 km from Sighişoara and 35 km from Mediaș, a location recommended by the *Lonely Planet guide as the top place in the world to ride as a tourist. This event is organized by Cross-Country Farm with the support of the Romanian Equestrian Federation and the International Equestrian Federation*.
The organizers are grateful for the support of volunteers from both the country and abroad. The event will host three types of competitions, complemented daily by a series of demonstrations and adjacent events for spectators.

- International Complete Competition
- Balkan Championships in Complete Test
- International University Competition
Demonstrations
Demonstrations of natural horsemanship, horseback acrobatics/stunts, and equestrian martial arts will be showcased on Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM, between the event's trials. More details will be available on-site.
Schedule and Tickets
The competition schedule will span over three days, with the competition day starting at 9:00 AM and ending at 6:00 PM. Tickets will be available directly at the event, at the entrance to the competition area.
