One of the largest fairs dedicated to Easter celebrations will open its doors on April 26. For nearly two weeks, dozens of local producers as well as those from other parts of the country will showcase their own delicacies, traditional gifts, and handcrafted items in the Great Square of Sibiu.

Importance of the Market

The Easter Market in Sibiu is one of the most important of its kind, being organized for the fourth time. In the Great Square of Sibiu:

• 45 wooden stalls will be set up
• The entire square will be decorated in a way that reflects the Easter celebration

Activities for Children

The venue will also be a delight for the little ones, as the Easter Bunny will be present every day of the 12-day market to give gifts to children. Additionally, they will participate in various activities such as:

• Egg decorating
• Sports competitions
• The Easter Egg Hunt contest

The fair is organized by the Au-Ro Austria Pro Romania Foundation with the help of the Local Council of Sibiu, the City Hall of Sibiu, and the Cultural House of the Municipality of Sibiu.
